Keep candy, especially chocolate, away from your pets. Many ingredients in
candy can be harmful, even deadly, to pets.
Be sure to dispose of candy wrappers
immediately to keep them out of reach of your pets. Candy wrappers can
cause intestinal problems in pets
if chewed or swallowed.
Leave your pets at home during trick-or-treat time. Be sure to keep
them in a separate, quiet room so they do not run out the
front door or become scared of the costumes and noise of trick-or-treaters
coming to your house.
Keep lit jack-o'-lanterns and candles away from your pets.
Do not use noise-makers or fireworks around
pets.
